picking this up for the first time I was amazed at how light it is. being made out of aluminum really lightens the load. I personally would still like better accuracy but this does tighten groupings more than double the surface area of the average 6.08. Oh and just because it is made of aluminum does not mean that it will scratch easily because of the new method of anodizing, the inside should be harder than steel?!? But I don't know this to be fact on if the have been doing there method right. All in all a great light barrel that lightens your gun a surprising amount.
