ICS M4A1 R.I.S.

Special Operations Forces (SOF) requires the capability to adapt basic issue weapons to meet several mission needs. Therefore, the US Naval Surface Warfare Center developed the SOPMOD M4A1 (Special Operations Peculiar Modification to the M4 Carbine). This M4A1 carbine has the flexibility and versatility to meet mission-specific requirements. The SOPMOD M4 is based on the standard M4A1 RIS platform as replicated here by ICS. Full metal M4 RIS is heavy and rigid, and offers high rate of fire with pin-point accuracy.

This latest ICS M4 R.I.S. provides an excellent weapons platform for shooting in both close quarters and open-field scenarios. The R.I.S. system is designed to mount all kinds of equipment (e.g. lasers, bipods, M203 grenade launcher, PEQ laser sight) for different operational needs. The R.I.S. system contains two hand-guard panels, the R.I.S. mount rails, and the tactical fore grip.

ICS M4 R.I.S. is full metal and made from high quality aluminum and metal alloy for maximum rigidity. High quality materials used in receiver gives gun a heavy and solid feel.

R.I.S. Panels: High quality nylon made, pattern process surface technology. AN/PEQ 2 battery box: ICS special designed AN/PEQ 2 battery box. It can also attach ICS Laser & Mount Adapter.

I picked one up at Oklahoma Invasion V and instantly fell in love with it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is for the 320 fps out of the box. Fifteen minutes, a 110 spring and high speed motor later, it became the only gun I used all weekend, even over my other favorites.
