The Commando Throat Mic allows a user to still communicate using a throat mic while staying discrete with a sound tube instead of a conventional ear bud. Now, even with running and jumping the sound tube will never fall out of the ear. Because of its slimmer design, it fits comfortably under any mask. The sound tube can also be cut shorter to fit different sized ears. The Commando also includes a Weatherproof PTT for tough outdoor situations. Now you can play in the rain, mud or dust and not worry about damaging your Fire Fox Communication equipment.

The mic has great sound quality going both ways, so no complaint there. There are a few problems with the mic though. The wiring needs to have a thicker casing to keep it from getting damaged and pulled out of the pickup. The biggest issue that I have with it is that the neck piece is not adjustable and it is rather small. Since the mic has only one picup you can rotate the pickup to you adams apple, but in my case this puts the other end of theneck piece on the side of my neck. This is neither comfortable nor secure. This would be a 4-5 star mic if they added the same tepescoping neck piece that can be found on a $5 set of earphones.

This product is excellent. I bought it from another site that didnt tell the specifications on what radios it works on and i am sorry. But then once my radio didnt work on it, i researched and came here with the awsome info. I got a nice new pair of T7400's and tryed it out. It is awsome. But one warning is that if someone is talking with them to you, be sure you have something in your ear or this thing also because it is super soft without an earpiece in, but then this thing here's ear peice magnifies the volume so that you can hear no matter what!
