Pull out the firing pin, grab onto the release lever and throw the grenade away from you onto the ground. This product recieves 4 stars from me. During CQB, this grenade is most desirable, No pieces are lost and it is simple to use. The timing mechanism, while intuitive, is not described too well in the directions. - Note, when it says, "to the extreme left", it means, right before the threads become loose or right after. The head should be tight or somewhat tight for the grenade to work properly. In forest work for skirmishes, I give it 5 stars for bunker, 3 for all other times. It works well when the BB end points towards your enemy, otherwise, it's anti-climactic and just a diversion-type thing. It's essentially playing Russian Roulette "will it fire in the correct direction? ...We're about to find out>" I found this could be mostly remedied if you throw it with a football spin, the BB end first. It's certainly easier to load and use in comparison to the PFI or other such types... and no parts come off except for the detonation pin, so don't worry about replacing anything unless the cord that holds the plugs frays, but that'd be what... a dollar or something to replace? Looks good, feels good, so, an overall 4 stars.

I give this airsoft grenade 4 stars. I bought 2 of them ( one for me and a gift for my fiend)they both work but you have to play around with them. It took me awhile to adjusted them and figure out how to use them. They are pretty good and you can adjust the timmer and how narrow or wide you want the bbs to fly. You can also use almost any gas on it but it may damage the grenade. I tested it in an airsoft war by throwing in a tree fort. The bbs flew every ware and made a loud pop. This grenade is also good for trip wires and time bombs.
