I just received this yesterday. It holds a 9.6 volt battery without issue and has a much better finish and feel than the TM version. Out of the box it chrono'd between 390 and 400 fps and shot 15 rps with a 9.6 1400 mah intellect battery. I did not try the stock 9.6 it came with yet. Accuracy and range were good for such a short barrel.

great gun mine came with the wrong manual so dont listen to it for the mag part just load the bbs into the small hole. also the battery is a tight fit but u should be able to get it in there. you may need to fiddle around with the hop-up but i got mine right now and i shoots fantasticly
