ARES, a new airsoft gun manufacturer in Hong Kong, has announced their first and new Sniper gun - AMP DSR-1. The entire gun is machined from aluminium casting, makes it light and solid. The system of it is very similar to Tanaka Gas Rifles: Gas tank is inside the magazine. Safety lever is on both sides, adjustable handguards, stocks, cheek piece, extendable rear monopod, and the spare magazine is located in front of the trigger.

The trademarks and style of the gun are officially licensed.
