Are you ready?

As the historic Ai500 draws closer I have to ask are you ready to become part of Airsoft History? Our event organisers are reporting a major influx of bookings through the event website www.ai-500.com don't leave it too long to reserve your place as I wouldn't want you to be disappointed. European players need not worry about exporting your RIF's or for that matter bringing them back into the country as we have had a number of practice runs to and from the US and I'm happy to report that its been plane sailing and Virgin Atlantic in particular have been extremely helpful checking our RIF's through customs at both ends. You can catch up with our transatlantic capers in the next issue of Ai (which will be just in time for the travelling UK players to digest and transport their RIF's in the correct manner). As players, sponsors to the Ai 500 are increasing on a weekly basis, the latest to sign up is TC Airsoft (turn to page 38 for a full sponsor and event update). The scene is set, the players are ready, the scenario is in place so what are you waiting for, become part of Airsoft History and sign up today.

Believe it or not we've come to yet another index with the publication of this issue (Vol 3 Issue 12) No other Airsoft Magazine has published as many issues of survived as long as Ai and that's all down to you guys (our readers), I'm glad to report that Ai is setting sales standards that have never been seen in the Airsoft world before and we are also bucking the news trade trends of decreased publisher sales.

So what will Volume 4 bring, well the first and most important thing is that I'm afraid we are having to increase the cover price to £4.25. We have published Ai now for over 3 years and kept the cover price static and have until now bucked the national trend of publishers adding a year on year increase to their cover price and where possible have observed supplier price increases, but don't worry that price hike is only going to affect our news trade sales, subscription prices will remain the same.

But one thing you can expect is a full on full colour monthly fix of the magazine so many of you out there have come to love.
