    This makes my second A&K M249, the first was the MkII model. Outside of the shorter barrel and collapsable stock, the gun is as good as the MkII. I thought it would be alittle lighter, but actually it is about 4 ozs heavier. Operation, FPS and ROF were close to the same for both and for the money, I think you would do no wrong in purchasing this SAW.     This thing rocks! ROF is great and it will reach out and touch the competition. The factory battery is weak, however when using an intelect 9.6v you will be blown away! Every good support gunner needs this.
