What are Airsoft guns?
Airsoft guns are 1-to-1 scale replicas of actual pistols, rifles and machine guns that fire a 6mm plastic BB using air to propel the projectile. Some Airsoft pistols have a blow back action that provides a recoil effect. In addition to incomparable realism, Airsoft guns are reliable and accurate out to about 100 feet.
Airsoft guns are not toys! While, Airsoft guns are hardly firearms, they can be DANGEROUS toys if not used properly! Eye and face protection is a must. If treated appropriately, like other 'potentially dangerous' item, Airsoft replicas can be instructional and entertaining.

-AEG = Automatic Electric Gun
-AEGs are battery powered puenamtic gearbox systems.
-Offering the user the ability to imitate "most" machine guns and rifles.
-Matching not only overall functions but in most cases rate of fire (ROF)
-Also allowing the player sustainable use throughout skirmishes with limited downtime.

What are the different type of batteries?
-
NiCad= Nickel Cadmium
-Retains cell memory/lower capacities
-requires deligent discharging and charging cycles
-
NiMH= Nickel Metal Hydride
-Does not retain memory
-Higher capacity 2-3 times more than NiCad
-
LiPo= Lithium Ion Polymer
-Pouch Cell= lighter, smaller, and easily shaped to fit needs
-High run time
-Requires specific chargers
-Due to chemical make-up care is needed not to damage casing, fire/injury may occur

Battery voltage and sizes
The battery voltage (V) is determined by the number of cells in the battery pack. Multiply the number of cells by 1.2 volts to get the pack's voltage, e.g. 7 cells x 1.2v = 8.4v, 8 cells X 1.2v = 9.6V. The amount of voltage determines the rate of fire of the gun and how strong a spring you can install in the gun.
-
7.2v-8.4v
-Usually associated with stock or down-graded guns
-
9.6v
-Used with upgraded guns
-Increase in rate of fire
-
10-12v
-Used with highly modified guns
-Used with an air of caution

Why do some Airsoft replicas have manufacturer tradmarks, while others do not?
By law, manfacturer trademarks are protected. Because most Airsoft products are manufactured and distributed outside of the United States, unfortunately they are sometimes ignored. Because of this, trademarks are sometimes removed after leaving the factory to be complient with U.S. Customs or not avaliable stateside. However with an ever growing market more and more replicas are legally attaining proper rights to imatate their real counter-part.

What is "Hop-up" ?
Hop-up is referring to the device found within the airsoft gun located near the barrel, which puts a backpsin on the BB, thus affecting it's speed and accuracy.

How do I use my Airsoft gun safely?
Airsoft guns are not toys. They can be very dangerous if not used properly. Use of safety equipment such as: goggles, gloves, face protection, proper clothing, and weapon case(s). Please be wary of the public as well, airsoft can be mistaken for real firearms very easily. Please transport and use in private settings away from cautious law enforcement and innocent by-standers. This ensures that when used properly Airsoft can be a fun sport had by all.

What is the range of a typical Airsoft gun?
Most spring guns are accurate to 50ft. However some gas and electric models are accurate out and past 100ft. Though accuracy and range are dependent on a number of factors: barrel type, internal parts, weather conditions, and type of gas used.
